Alternate NASCAR standings scored lap by lap. Each lap, the leader earns as many points as cars on track
(e.g. 38 cars — 1st gets 38, 38th gets 1). Add up every lap for the race, then the season.
The champion is whoever ran up front most consistently — not whoever survived the last-lap lottery.
This does not replace NASCAR's official points; it is a different view of who actually raced the hardest.
