Reddick Claims Victory at Phoenix
The Freeway Insurance 500 featured several cautions and strategic pit stops that reshaped the field. Early and mid-race cautions for incidents involving the #3 and #51 cars, as well as a flat tire for the #10, gave drivers chances to take the free pass. Joey Logano (#22) won the second stage, while several other drivers used the wave to regain lead-lap status.
Ryan Blaney (#12) dropped from sixth to fifteenth after a slow left rear tire change on lap 189 but fought his way back. A caution on lap 283 for the #5 set up the final run, and Tyler Reddick (#45) held off the field in the closing laps.
Tyler Reddick (#45) won the race by 0.801 seconds over Ryan Blaney (#12).
